You can set up to 31 passwords in total: one Master Code and up to 30 User Codes. Each password can be 6 to 18 digits long, offering flexible access for family, teammates, or guests.
Q2: Is this padlock waterproof and suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, it has an IP65 weatherproof rating, making it ideal for outdoor use. Just avoid laying it flat for extended periods to prevent water from entering the charging port.
Q3: How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
The built-in 300mAh rechargeable battery lasts up to 6 months or approximately 1,500 unlocks per charge. Use the included Type-C cable (5V/1A) to fully charge it in about 2 hours.
Q4: How will I know when the battery is running low?
You'll receive two types of low-battery alerts:
- 1.After entering the correct password, the function key flashes red for 5 seconds with a rapid buzzer sound.
- 2.The function key flashes continuously for 5 seconds or remains off entirely.Recharge the padlock as soon as you see either alert.
Q5: Can I charge the padlock with a portable power bank?
Yes, the lock supports charging from portable power banks, allowing you to recharge it easily on the go without needing a wall outlet.
Q6: What should I do if I forget my password?
Use one of the two included physical backup keys. Insert the key, turn it clockwise 90 degrees, and pull the shackle to unlock. Keep your key code number in a safe place for future reference.
Q7: Does this lock support virtual passwords to prevent shoulder surfing?
Yes. You can add random digits before or after your actual code so that anyone watching you enter it won't be able to guess your real password.
Q8: Can I use this padlock on checked luggage when flying?
We recommend using this padlock on carry-on luggage only. It is not advised for checked bags due to TSA inspection requirements and potential handling conditions.
Q9: How do I restore the lock to factory settings by key?
Use the physical key to unlock and hold it at 90 degrees. Then press 09 followed by the Function Key. A long beep and a green light will confirm the reset — all custom codes are erased, and the default password 000000 is restored.
